Chronic Pain, Trauma and Performance Specialist
Helping You Retrain Your Brain, Reconnect with Your Body, and Perform at Your Best
The brain has an incredible ability to adapt. Sometimes those adaptations help us survive difficult experiences. Other times they contribute to chronic pain, anxiety, trauma responses, persistent physical symptoms, or feeling stuck despite doing everything "right."
My passion is helping people understand the connection between the brain, body, and emotions so they can move beyond survival and begin living with greater confidence, resilience, and freedom.
Whether you're seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from trauma, struggling with anxiety or health anxiety, navigating persistent mind-body symptoms, or looking to optimize your performance in sports, business, or life, my goal is to help you better understand your nervous system and unlock your brain's capacity for change.

My Approach
Many emotional, physical, and performance challenges share common roots in how the brain learns, adapts, and responds to stress. That's why I focus on understanding the whole person rather than simply treating symptoms.
I integrate evidence-based approaches including Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, clinical hypnosis, somatic therapies, and neuroscience-informed interventions to help clients create meaningful, lasting changes in both mind and body.
Every treatment plan is personalized because every person's experiences, strengths, and goals are unique. Whether we're reducing chronic pain, healing trauma, overcoming anxiety, or building confidence and resilience, we'll work together to create an approach that fits you.
A Special Focus on Chronic Pain & Mind-Body Symptoms
Many people living with chronic pain, migraines, dizziness, IBS, pelvic pain, fatigue, or other persistent symptoms have been told that "everything looks normal" while continuing to suffer every day.
Your symptoms are real.
Research shows that the brain can sometimes continue producing pain or other physical symptoms long after the original injury or illness has resolved. Using evidence-based approaches such as Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), and other neuroscience-informed treatments, I help clients understand these patterns, reduce fear, retrain the brain's response, and return to living fuller, more active lives.
Performance Isn't Separate from Healing
The same brain that learns chronic pain can also learn confidence.
The same nervous system that becomes stuck in survival can also learn resilience, flexibility, and peak performance.
That's why I enjoy working with athletes, professionals, executives, military members, first responders, and high performers who want to improve confidence, emotional regulation, visualization, resilience, and performance under pressure. Whether your goal is returning to sport after injury, performing at your best, leading with confidence, or simply becoming the healthiest version of yourself, the same principles of brain adaptability apply.
Why Clients Choose to Work With Me
I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. While advanced training and evidence-based therapies are important, I believe the relationship we build together is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change.
My work is grounded in lifelong learning. I continually pursue advanced training in trauma, chronic pain, mind-body medicine, neuroscience, and performance psychology because our understanding of healing continues to evolve. I integrate the latest evidence-based approaches so my clients receive care that reflects both current research and real-world clinical experience.
I have extensive experience working with trauma in both civilian and military communities. Having served in the military and lived military life as both a veteran and a military spouse, I understand the unique culture, challenges, and strengths that shape the experiences of service members, veterans, and their families. That perspective allows me to connect with military clients in a way that feels authentic and informed.
I also understand transformation on a personal level. I've been sober since I was 20 years old, and that journey strengthened my belief that meaningful change is possible. Recovery taught me resilience, humility, and the courage it takes to ask for help—lessons that continue to shape how I support others today.
I'm naturally fascinated by the relationship between the brain, body, emotions, and human potential. That curiosity has led me to specialize in chronic pain, mind-body symptoms, trauma recovery, and performance optimization. Whether someone is seeking relief from persistent symptoms, healing from difficult experiences, or striving to perform at their highest level, I believe the brain has an incredible capacity to learn, adapt, and change.
I also provide psychedelic preparation and integration support for individuals seeking to thoughtfully integrate these experiences into their healing journey in a grounded, ethical, and psychologically safe way.
Outside the therapy office, you'll usually find me trail running, backpacking, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with my family and animals. As an ultramarathon runner, I've learned that growth rarely happens all at once—it happens one intentional step at a time. That perspective shapes my work with clients as well. Healing isn't about perfection or pushing harder. It's about building resilience, trusting the process, and discovering that you're capable of far more than you imagined.
What You Can Expect
My style is warm, collaborative, curious, and active. I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to explore at a pace that honors your nervous system while also feeling gently challenged to grow.
You won't be judged, rushed, or expected to have everything figured out. Together we'll work to understand your story, uncover what's driving your symptoms or struggles, and build practical tools that support lasting healing and resilience.
My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with greater clarity, confidence, and hope for what's possible.
You don't have to relive everything to heal, and you don't have to do it alone.
