About Me
I’m a trauma therapist with a deep respect for the ways the nervous system learns to survive. My work is grounded in the understanding that many emotional and relational struggles aren’t signs that something is wrong with you — they are signs that your system adapted in the best ways it could at the time.

I have extensive experience working with trauma in both civilian and military communities. I’ve worked within the military system and alongside veterans and service members, and I also bring a personal understanding of military life as both a veteran and a military spouse. This perspective allows me to appreciate the unique stressors, strengths, and cultural dynamics that shape military and veteran experiences.

I’m deeply committed to ongoing learning and growth in my field. Trauma healing is constantly evolving, and I continue to pursue advanced training to better support my clients in meaningful, lasting change. My approach integrates many evidenced based modalities rooted in understanding trauma's impact on the brain and development and how to rewire these survival patterns into more grounded and adaptable ways of being.

I also understand recovery and personal transformation on a lived level. I’ve been sober from alcohol since age 20, and that journey shaped my belief in the possibility of change, resilience, and the courage it takes to seek healing.

I hold a respectful curiosity about spirituality, expanded states of consciousness, and the deeper questions of life, meaning, and mortality. This openness supports my work as a psychedelic-friendly therapist, offering preparation and integration support in a grounded, ethical, and psychologically safe way.

Outside the therapy room, I’m an ultra-distance runner, backpacker, and lover of outdoor adventure. Time in nature, movement, and connection with animals are important parts of how I stay regulated and present in my own life — and they continually remind me of the resilience and capacity for growth that exists in all of us.

My style is warm, collaborative, and paced with your nervous system. I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to explore at a pace that honors your system — not when you’re pushed to go faster than you’re ready for.

You don’t have to relive everything to heal. And you don’t have to do it alone.
